How often shall I take my pet to the clinic?
I mean if he/she is not ailing i.e. just for regular check-ups, weighing etc.
Do you follow a routine? Or do you just visit the vet only when you think there’s a problem?

Once a year should be sufficient, however for puppies it's generally a little different. Maybe twice or three times for the first year, I forget.

Haven't experienced bringing a pet on vet clinics because I only tried taking care of fish which don't really need vet attention but if ever I had a dog I'll probably bring it to the clinic every time it has a schedule for check up and if its sick.

I would say it depends on your pet type, how it lives ( outside, in a big city, only in a small flat ... ) and its previous diseases and health. Regular check-ups are better than recognising something bad too late.
