Default sprogs and dogs

Its said that , a dog and a kid are the most happiest pair together.

Often we see that parents are worried when they have a toddler and a pet in the family . The worry would be of they harming each other, of health and many other. Hence, it becomes very necessary that the child should be given proper guidance and the pet adequate training from their young age itself . Do comment

What is a sprog? I've never heard that term before.

I do agree that, if you are going to have a dog, especially around kids, it is very important to have them trained well. Dogs can be dangerous things if left to their own devices.

Its also important for the child to be trained well in the way of treating an animal. Practicing gentle petting is important, and teaching that pulling ears and tails is a no-no.

Training a child is much different from training an animal. If a parent worried about the child hurting the animal or the animal hurting the child then the two should be seperated. My sisters granddaughter goes after my sisters pitbull and he growls. My bro-in-law locks him up just in case so he can cool off. I am not saying you have to get rid of the animal just seperate them for a short time.
