hi,
Any chance that the rabbit has harlequin coloration? That is the official color of a rabbit that has the same appearance as a tortoiseshell cat. When rabbits change feed they are often prompted to molt. If the rabbit is black he will molt out to black. If his coloration is genetic he will remain the same. Dark rabbits do get sun burned sometimes so you'll just have to wait and see what color he ends up. Diljera |
