We've had a bunny in the family for about 2-3 years now and it just died this summer from the incredible heat. My uncle was carrying for it and left it inside near the front of the door. But while he was at the doctors one day the poor bunny died. He said it was heat stroke. I trust that's true he has lived on a farm for years and knows all about cows, horses, rabbits, goats, dogs, and sheep.

People do not realize that animals are more suspect to the heat then humans. Even human succumb to heat after being out in it for a long period of time. I suggest you keep animals in shade if you have them outside. DO NOT KEEP THEM LOCKED IN CARS. ITS ILLEGAL IN MOST STATES.
