This is a toy that I made for my cat. I made a big pompom out of yarn (shh... from my Mom's crocheting box!) and attatched it to the end of fishing line coming off an old fishing pole we have. Of course with no hooks or anything sharp. I swing it back and forth the length of the living room and the cats go crazy chasing it and jumping for it.

You can buy toys like this with bells and stuff on them. I bought one and it was reasonably priced, but it didn't last long at all. If you have the know how making it at home is certainly the best way to go. I find that my cat wants to play with the stuff I make him more than any toy I've ever bought.

My cat's favorite toy, since she was just a kitten really, is just a piece of string. I can get her to play with string or yarn for as long as I'm willing to swing it around.
Any of the other cat toys with balls and bells and feathers she'll have nothing to do with, but pull out that string and the fun begins.

My cat has a plethora of cat toys to choose from. I should say that I have been really pampering my cat. Her favorite toy is a feather toy which has a lot of colorful feathers - pink and blue and yellow. It also likes a stuffed toy which looks like a mouse. I gues I'll try the yarn toy, sounds cool

I think a cat really likes anything that they can dig their claws in. It is quite funny when they get all tangled into yarns and you’ll see them trying to make their way out. Stuff toys don’t work for her, though. She easily gets bored with it.
