What was your first pet and when did you get it ? How were your first experiences with your own animal ?
When i was 7 years old i got 2 cats ( brother and sister ). I called them Fritz & Fratz. They were so adorable and i took good care of them. Unfortunately both of them died early. It was hard for me to handle, since i was so young. But the love for cats stayed and i am happy that my parents gave me the chance to learn responsibility for animals. |

My first pet was a guinea pig. I got it when i
was living in my first flat during my apprenticeship. At home we never had animals although i wanted to have one. So i waited until i got my own flat and was old enough to make decisions in my life. |

I can't remember the first animal. When i was born there were always animals with us. So i already spent my whole life with them. When i will have children myself, they should grow up on a farm, too. I guess it's helpful for their development.

I grew up in a farm and there is a particular thing we have during my younger days and that would be our carabao. He has expressive eyes and we take care of him everyday because he helps us too. Too bad that my parents sold him when I was in high school.

This is the first time I have ever heard someone took care of a carabao as a pet. I don't know but I think it is but natural for some people (especially people from the provinces) to take care of at least one carabao to help them plow the land. What is amazing in your story is you seemed like you became attached to your carabao as if it's really your pet. |
