when death is near

One of our donkeys is already very old and my parents think that he'll soon die. Since a few days he is not very active anymore and doesn't look good. It is a strange feeling to know, that he can die each day. And although we are very sad we are going to make him a nice remaining time. Maybe it is easier for him when he feels that we all love him very much and are going to take care of him until everything is over. I think it is important to share all the good and bad times of life together.

You have a great view for your pet, Dana. It is sad to lose someone who has been a very important part of our life. That’s life and all we can do is accept it.
