First off, I have to ask if you went to see your vet regarding this. Sometimes when a dog smells bad it could be the sign of a skin problem in which case the shampoo won't help. It is also important to make sure your dogs' anal gland are not infected or impacted, this can also cause the odor. If neither of these is the case then any shampoo will do the trick. Use some White Vinegar and warm water when you rinse. Hope this helps.

Hoo. Well, I just think dogs smell kinda funky all the time. I mean, they smell like dog, which isn't really that pleasant. If you have a more unusual smell, you should take the dog to a vet.

Make sure you are not over-washing your dog. Over bathing them rids them off their natural oils & can make them smell worse. Secondly, brush your dog regularly, this helps them keep smelling fresh and finally, invest in Pet wipes & wipe him/her regularly.
