Default Professional Grooming?

Do any of you guys take your pets to a professional to get your pets groomed, or do you do it yourselves? I am thinking about going to a grooming shop to bring in my dog, should I?

Last time I tried grooming I ended up with a blue dog. LOL. Do not ask because I really felt bad for old bluey (lucky) and trust me my mum was not to pleased that I tried to groom him. The best thing you can do for a pet is take him to a professional unless you absolutely know what your doing. If you dont know what your doing PLEASE dont make my mistake

Chemikal, what in the heck did you do to turn your dog blue. I have groomed my dog before and I am actually quite good at it. I take my dog to the groomer though as they are trained professionals at it. Now groomers require paper work saying that they are upto date vaccination wise. I might start grooming again. It is getting far to expensive to cut hair. It is 50 dollars here now

I take my dogs to this shop right in town. They do a great job, and the dogs don't seem to have a problem with it. They don't get scared or anything, they actually get really excited when I put them in the car to go.
