Default Dogs get embarrassed

Does anyone else have this problem? When my mom gets her dog back from the groomers he will go and hide.If we find him and make him sit with us he hides his face.He will also go get on the bed and roll around like he is trying to rub the smell off of him.

I think it's not a problem. It's just the unusual behavior of the dog that you think it is. All the dog needs is some understanding about his new look.

Dogs can get shy around new people. If they are white you will actually see them blush, this happen to my white boxer often and she turns pink. So cute!

When dogs gotta toot they toot. They are not humans. My dog will evacuate the whole town with one of his. Dogs have feelings too thats why the shyness is in your dog. Just picture yourself naked and getting fur cut off your well stuff. I would be shy too if someone was looking at all my parts and shaving them. Give them an hour or two back to readjusting to being home it will pass.

Funny you should mention this...

My grandmother used to take her poodle to get trimmed and groomed every month, and when he came home, he would be embarrassed too. He would usually hide until we brought out the dog treats, and then he'd be fine afterwards. All he needed was a little reassurance! :P

Thats right sapphira. All dogs at some point in life will be embarrassed at some point. All you need to do is get them into an enviroment that they will be comfortable with and they will be just fine. Bat is right however dogs kind of feel strange when people go messing with there stuff when they do not know them. Some groomers will set their appointments 2 hours in advance so the dog can get aquanted with the groomers sniff and sniff until they are used to them.
