Anyone here also fascinated with "The Animal Planet"? Recently, I have been hooked to its program, "The Most Extreme". It's where I learned of "Flying Squirrels". They look like squirrels and at the same time bats when they spread their legs. A pet owner was featured taking care of a flying squirrel (in another program). But, if ever you're interested to own one, it's best to check the legality of keeping a flying squirrel in your State or province.

I do watch some animal channels on TV but mostly I see some creepy animals like tarantulas and snakes. I can't wait to see squirrels too because I think that they are cute. I've just seen them on some 3D movies. I think there's only a certain location where you can see squirrels especially those flying ones.

For me it is the same like with birds. The name
"flying squirrel" already tells us, that the animal needs lots of space to move. When the person owns a big garden cage it would be ok, but if not i would dislike it. |

Yes. I know where you are coming from. I mean, it's kind of weird to have a flying squirrel as a pet. But, I have seen some people (on television) who takes care of flying squirrels. The animals seem interesting, but keeping one for myself...am not sure if I can handle it.

There are many lovely and interesting animals out there. But we'll have to consider what is the best for the animals, because they don't have a voice to tell us. |

Well said, Trixie. You are so right. Maybe, it is better if we just let them wander around since they are not anyways one of the traditional house pets. Oh well. Still, it could be really interesting to have one at home. I won't give up, would I?
