Default Scorpions

Another suggestion for an exotic pet (but this is not anymore so exotic as many have already started the fad of having this animal as pet) is the Scorpion. Same with Tarantulas, Scorpion is not for handling. The good thing about this animal it is clean and easy to care for. A friend once told me that they used to have resident scorpion in their house. There were times when insie his bedroom, a scorpion will just fall off on him while sleeping. He went on telling me that he was bitten by the scorpion once but it was like a bee sting and he needed not be taken to a hospital. He tried looking for the scorpion to keep as pet but he didn't find it anymore. Maybe the scorpion did not want to be pet-sitted by him!

I've never actually seen one but just in the TV. There's a certain program and its topic was taking care of some exotic animals such as tarantulas and scorpions. Scorpions really stings and they said that scorpion venom may varry according to the type of scorpion you are taking care with. They be better on the cage if they will just hurt me. I will never ever tried to have exotic pets!

I would not dare to own one. Besides, I can’t touch it nor play with it. That will not be fun for me. I still prefer normal pets. At least I can play with them.

I would be too afraid. I always hear stories about how dangerous scorpions are. Of course i don't know if it is true, because in my country there are no scorpions. But i don't want to try it.

Really now, Dana? Where do you live if there is not a single scorpion in your country? This is what I have read about scorpions:

Quote:
Scorpions live on every continent except Antarctica and are found in almost every kind of habitat. Most scorpions live in deserts. Some live in rain forests. Others live in grassy prairies, and still others live only beneath the bark of palm trees. About 70-75 types of scorpions live in the United States. Most of these are found in the desert Southwest.

Maybe scorpions are not exposed to the city wherein dana resides. Besides, according to your information, scorpions are usually found in the desert. I haven’t seen a scorpion, too and all the information that I know about scorpions is usually hearsays.

I haven't seen a scorpion too, Cessy. But I never thought that its totally not for real or that my country has none of it. They mostly live in deserts but they can be found anywhere. I hope to see one.
