Another exotic pet for the ones fascinated with morbid creatures, the Tarantula. It could be a good pet since it can live up to twenty years. Aside from turtles, there is another pet you can actually grow along with. However, the downside of having Tarantulas as pets is that they are not for cuddling or handling and they do bite! The good thing about them biting is that, although they're venomous, their venom is not as toxic as that of some snakes. The toxicity of their venom is just like that of bees or wasps. But there are people who gets allergic reaction to even bee stings that sometimes the reaction can be fatal. But, generally, tarantulas rather just stay away than bite.

I am not really afraid on handling house spiders but if it comes from nowhere like Tarantulas that comes from the forrest (i think) and knowing that they bite with sting I wouldn't even dare to have one.

Am neither scared of spiders. But feeling it crawl on me, it's another story. I don't know but tarantulas are different. You don't really have to touch them all the time. It's more like you watch them. Observe them what they do. It's such a discovery, you know just looking at them. You won't get bitten if you just watch them anyway.
