Default Octopus!

I wonder what is the maximum height of an adult octopus? We were able to see a baby octopus when we went on a beach last summer and one of the kids wanted to take it home! We just told him that it is a dangerous pet because he might get sucked in so that he would stop crying.

Isn’t it jellyfishes, Cessy? What does it looks like? I thought you could only see octopus underwater because I could only see it on TV, hahaha. I’ve seen one when I was a kid on my relatives beach and just realized it’s just a large jellyfish.

I don’t think that it is a jellyfish because it is not transparent. It is somehow purplish in color and the guy who caught it is just holding it with bare hands.

Wow! You guys have seen a live octopus?! How does it look like? I mean, is it scary?! I haven't seen one but I have seen a seahorse and a starfish. Grrrr...if you were able to see one, then the water must be that polluted. They should be far away from the shore. There must be something wrong with that octopus. Poor thing.

It is about five inches tall and the skin is purplish. I was not able to see it up close because the kids were hovering around it. I was a little bit surprised when they said that they caught a baby octopus, too.
