Default Monkeys...

I've known a friend who takes care of monkeys when we were in highschool. She keeps feeding them bananas and some foods that her monkeys could digest. I think they are easy to take care of but mostly in provincial areas. Have you tried taking care of this animal as a pet?

I saw a neighbor that keeps small money leashed on a tree. It is a common attraction for young kids but sometimes, when the monkey gets pissed off, it bites kids ears.

Is it allowed to pet a monkey? But, I have seen establishments that have at least one monkey in front of their stores. Is it like a good luck or something?

I would say that depends on where you are coming from. In my country ( UK ) it is not allowed. Moreover there's no possibility to get one over here. Since people are not allowed to bring them in the country.

Although i adore monkeys ( because they are so similar to humans ) i would not want one at home. They should live with other monkeys. I guess it is better for them.

Yeah, I guess they would be better off in the forest because it is theri habitat and might as well stay there for the rest of their lives.

Maybe it really depends on the country. I am from the Philippines and it seems that there are some people who keep monkeys as pets. I do not know if it is legal to have one, though.
