Glad I found this site, as I adore animals... I currently live in an apartment, so I don't have many animals; only one cat, but I don't have kids either, so I sort of treat her like she's my child.

In the past I've owned hamsters, dogs, fish and cats, though I've always wanted a horse! I don't see that happening anytime soon, though.

Anyway, it's good to be here! I look forward to talking with all of you.

Hehe, Hi sapphira. I am Batman, I too am from The hawkeye state. I have lots of domestic and non domestic animals. The call me the Batman. I have friends that have bats and I get along better with them then he does. LOL I got 1 dog and 2 cats. I hope you enjoy the forum too. What part of Iowa do you live in. I live towards the Nebraska, South Dakota Border.

Hi Batman, I just recently moved to Iowa from Oregon. I've been here since mid-August and enjoy it a lot... it's like home away from home! The climate, weather, sights, etc... are very similar to Oregon.

I live in Marion, which is a small suburb of Cedar Rapids. I don't know how far that is from you though, because I'm not very familiar with the geography.
