Default Lost kitty.

Hi. I have 3 cats who are all very special to me and about 8 large dogs who hate cats with a passion. My cats stay indoors at all times but 2 nights ago, my oldest cat (4yrs) Stole out the window, made it past the gauntlet of dogs and went over the wall. She hasnt been seen since but she has gone missing for 5 days before and came back pregnant so I suspect that she is out boyfriend hunting. Since then though, we have terrible storms and rain every day and my question is this: I have heard that rain confuses a cat and they get disorientated by it. Is this true?

Sorry to hear about your cat. Never heard about this one with the rain. Are you sure she made it past the dogs?

Default Still waiting...

Thanx for the reply. Still havent found her but Im sure the dogs didnt get her. They kill things but dont eat them. We are on a small-holding and all sorts of animals make it a home. If the dogs get them though, be it a chicken, dog or goat, there is always a body in the morning. Sad, but we need the dogs for safety reasons. Dont get me wrong, I love my dogs too, but my cats are my passion and it tears me up if I dwell too long on "Fanderay" being lost. I will keep u posted on events though. Thanx again!

Yeah, I too feel sorry for you and the cat. About the rain I don't think it's a problem for the cat. As for disorientation I don't think so. Hope he comes back soon. But what if your cat had eloped with her bf?

Yeah, we hope that your cat will come home soon. Our cats used to disappear for days but they always come back. I'm sure yours will do to. So, don't be sad. Cheer up.

Awww... I am so sorry that your cat ran away. I do sure hope that she comes back okay. I've had cats get out before, even during rainstorms, and they've found their way back home. I don't think they get disoriented.
