Default Riders?

Hey guys. I'm just wondering how many of you ride horses on a regular basis, and is the horse yours? If not, do you go to a stable or something and pay for lessons? Does it really work out your body as much as people say it does?

I have not ridden in a while since I fractured some vertebrae’s in my spine (not on a horse). I used to go to a stable and take a horse out, it really is a great workout and very relaxing.

When I was around ten years old, my grandmother paid for riding lessons for me and my younger brother. We were taught how to feed a horse, saddle them, clean their hooves, brush their hair, and of course... how to ride them. It was fun, and really was quite a workout! You can't just hop on a horse and expect it to do the rest, you have to work with it in harmony for a pleasant ride.

I can honestly say I have never ridden a horse. I have ridden cows and bulls before. Poor Duke. (the bull) He was just so tame he would let anyone ride him that wanted to. He was my baby away from home. To bad he got old. I was there when they put him down. I know his son though. Meaner then all get out. Nothing like Duke.

So we can share our hobby together. We have
an own stable besides our house, so i am always

relaxing

My family and me own 3 hourses. We have our own stable, too. We don't ride every day, but of course we spend time with the hourses every day. Not only riding is fun with horses.
