Is it really needed on riding a horse? I've seen cowboy commercials and they are wearing this hat, the jacket and the boots, is it appropriate or not? How about those clothes equestrians wear, I think it is more attractive than those of cowboys. What do you think are the proper clothes in riding a horse?

My thoughts about proper clothing :
- helmet, it is very important - comfortable pants, your pants will rub against the saddle and horse, because of that it should be a comfortable material - shoes with a good sole, you need to have grip otherwise your feet will slip out of the stirrup and it gets dangerous It does not matter how these clothers look like, if they were cheap or not as long as they protect you. |

Carla37 already mentioned the most important things. The clothes should be comfortable and simple. Simple because every strap and band can be dangerous, for example when you fall down and get caught. The clothes should be useful not beautiful.
