The level of responsibility

Pets need to be trained, not ignored. If you have decided to keep a pet, you have automatically accepted the responsibility to care for it much the same way as you would for your family.

This is a very sensitive issue. People who dont take care of their animals properly without knowing the responsibilities beforehand tend to neglect and ultimately hurt the animals because of this neglect. They could even end up dead. But in the end you can't change anyone.
