Do cats realy like the catnip plants that grow out of the ground?

My aunts dogs do but her or my cat never eat it

My cat likes the kind that you put in the toy mice beter.

I have 3 cats and not one of them like it....? I grew it in the house and it just died, noone went near it?

I thought most cats like catnip, but I heard that it not good for the cats. I don't know whether it is real.

I have found ONE kind of grown catnip that my cats will use and it's called CatNip plus. But anything else I buy will just die. Go figure?!
