If we love birds, why do we keep it in cage? Why people keep it if the only thing birds want to do is fly high. There's a lot of organization now that are very active on keeping a lot of pets in their household and not just leave them in an environment that they want. For those people who keeps birds as pets, why do you have to keep them in cage?

It is really an irony but I think the main reason why we would keep them in a cage is to avoid letting them fly! Cages are meant for bird lovers but do not have enough space in their homes to provide a large shelter for their pets.

This is a funny question...Of course, if you buy a bird to care for it as pet, you wouldn't want it to fly away so you put it inside a cage. Otherwise, you shouldn't have bought a bird in the first place and just watch them fly in the sky and let them experience the freedom they deserve.

Yes Oopsie it's really a funny question, hahaha. I've just realized it. If that's the score why there are so many people against birds being in cage. I am not against birds being in cage because if you love them you want to see them everyday but if you really love them you'll follow what they are born for.

I think Trixie finds it ironic how we can say that we love birds but we cut off its freedom. If there could be a way of letting it stay with us without the danger of letting them loose, then why not?

To be honest, i am against birds as pets.
Flying is important for birds, it is their way to move. And taking them their right to move by putting them in a cage is not very nice. I guess people keep them in cages, because they are egoistic and want to have them in their house all the time. People know that the birds would fly away, and so they prevent it. |

I think there are lots of people who owns a bird in a cage would love the idea of setting them free but it is just the idea of actually owning a bird as a pet is what keeps these people from letting them fly.

I am not against birds as pets but I am against on keeping them inside a cage. I have experienced owning a bird when I was a kid but then they died maybe because I am not well experienced to take care of them. That made me realize that I should have freed them instead.
