Birds have varied calls to differentiate individuals of their own species. Thus even if two species (like some of the warblers) look remarkably similar, they can be told apart by their distinct calls. Infact, birds from different areas believed to have their own regional accents.
Birds have a rich language to communicate everything from their basic needs of food, mates and territory, as also alarm, joy and mere chatter. Do you have anything to say here, with regard to the above mentioned topic. |
