I think some people tend to neglect injured birds because they do not know what to do when they see one. Maybe it is about time that animal organizations make campaigns on what should be done to help injured animals in case vets are not around.

That's a good idea Cessy. Animal organisations usually make a lot of campaigns, but i have never seen one about this topic. Although this is something where everyone can be active. Are you in an animal organisation ?

I don’t know if it is considered to be in that category but I work for a small organization in our village that is taking care of the surroundings and that includes animals. It could be a pet or a stray animal, we see to it that everybody is taken care of.
